He is a member of the Main Board of the Association of Jewish Veterans and Victims of the Second World War, a President of the International Auschwitz Committee,<br \/>\na Member of the International Council of the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum and a member of the Council of Wannsee Conference Memorial and Educational Site. Mr. Turski is an author or co-author of numerous books. Since 24 March 2009 Mr. Turski has been acting as the Chairman of the Council of the Museum of the History of Polish Jews.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Turski has been a member of the Board of the Association of the Jewish Historical Institute of Poland since 1995.
