The Zamość Photographic Society created and installed three cast iron plaques on the platform of PKP Starówka rail station in Zamość with the text: “From this spot in 1942 trains departed carrying the Jews of Zamość and surrounding areas.” Czech, German, and Austrian Jews were also imprisoned in the Zamość ghetto.
