With its project The Song of Tailor David, the Bez Wizy Foundation wants to bring literary and musical works created by Jewish artists in the interwar period closer to both younger and older audiences, and to remember their creators and performers. The project comprises several activities: tours of the Jewish sites of the Praga district in Warsaw, meetings that will make it possible to get to know the Jewish memorabilia collected in the Praga Museum and an artistic program bringing together shmontses, satirical texts and songs by prewar Jewish creators. The title of the entire project refers to the tests of Ref-Ren, who memorialized in song and monologues the figure of Dawid Rosenblat, a Jewish tailor from Białystok.
