The Association “Memory and Dialogue. Common History” plans to read and translate the inscriptions from about 400 matzevahs found in the cemetery in Brzesko, to complete the database it created with full information about each of them: the texts of the Hebrew inscriptions with translations into Polish and English, and photos of the grave markers. The database will help residents of Brzesko better understand the history of their town, and descendants of Brzesko Jews, with whom the Association maintains contact, to find more graves of their ancestors.
