Gregory Jankilevitsch and the Jankilevitsch Foundation

Gregory Jankilevitsch is the first Distinguished Benefactor of POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews who has supported the statutory activities of the Museum since the Capital Campaign.

A businessman who operates on international markets including energy sector, real estate and new technologies. A philanthropist, patron of the arts and collector of post-war and contemporary art. Founded by Gregory, the ASOM Collection promotes public access to international masterworks in its holdings through an extensive international loan programme and supports museums, curators and artists via the ASOM Grant.

Along with Wiaczesław Smołokowski, he co-founded the Young Polish Philharmony – a youth orchestra operating as part of Zwierciadlo Foundation project between 2011-2016.

Thanks to Gregory Jankilevitsch’s support, the POLIN Museum could organize some of its most important and popular temporary exhibitions, such as “Frank Stella and the Synagogues of Historic Poland” (2016), “Estranged. March ’68 and Its Aftermath” (2018) or “Around Us a Sea of Fire” (2023).

Since 2015 he has been supporting a range of public and cultural activities of the museum, including the POLIN Award Gala, the award of the POLIN Museum and the Association of the Jewish Historical Institute of Poland that recognises organizations and institutions for actively commemorating the history of Polish Jews.
