Cultural program centered on an exhibition on Breslauer Jews

For many residents of the city of Wrocław, the history of the prewar city – previously known as Breslau – including the fate of the local Jews, remains an area that is not spoken about; it’s taboo. The Akcelerator Obywatelski Spark Foundation seeks to break down this barrier, showing Vroclavians that less than 100 years ago there was a sizable Jewish community here, which is told of in the exhibition Putting Things Back / Odkładając rzeczy na miejsce. The goal of the cultural program is to allow visitors to better and more enduringly take in the exhibition. The plans include guided city tours, visits to the exhibition with curators and experts, and meetings with the descendants of Jewish residents of prewar Breslau.
