The project of the Municipal Public Library aims to introduce the residents of Katowice and the metropolitan area to the history and heritage of the Jewish community. The events—open and intergenerational in nature—are designed to promote knowledge, tolerance, and historical awareness.
Planned for March 2025 are thematic walks around the city and the Jewish cemetery, a concert by the Mizrachi ensemble, workshops for children, author meetings and lectures, three photographic exhibitions, and an educational seminar for teachers and librarians.
