The program “Desert Tanks – Reconstruction of Armored Warfare in the Defense of Israel, 1956–1973,” implemented by the Grójec Board Games and Fantasy Association GROFAN, aims to educate residents of the Grójec region by presenting the history of Arab–Israeli conflicts during the Cold War period.
As part of the project, participants will take part in model-making workshops, during which they will learn about armored vehicles and create terrain models, followed by presentations of reconstructed battles from the years 1956, 1967, and 1973. The program combines elements of education, history, and entertainment, offering both young people and adults an engaging way to explore the past.
