The project is intended to familiarize the residents of Limanowa with the culture and heritage of the Jewish community from the surrounding area. The artists Andrzej Ciepliński (clarinet), Piotr Zimnik (double bass) and Piotr Przedbora (guitar) will present a program of arrangements of original prewar sheet music belonging to Jews from Limanowa and Nowy Sącz. The transcriptions of traditional melodies, sheet music notebooks of Jewish music students, and materials from the collections of ensembles that operated in Limanowa and Nowy Sącz will also be presented to Limanovans in a multimedia format during the lecture preceding the concert. It will be the first event of its kind in Limanowa.
