How to portray emptiness? How to show synagogues that no longer exist? How to recount a forgotten history? How to recapture places of prayer? The many Jewish families that once lived in Middle Pomerania before 1945 are not the subject of Polish history books. Emptiness and Light, a film produced by the H. Rodkiewicz Dialog Theater of Proposition Foundation, attempts to answer these questions by presenting traces of Jewish culture in this region.
