Falenica Memorial Book is being translated into Polish by the European Institute of Culture. For its inhabitants, Falenica is a special place. There is probably no other town so small with so many religious sites. Indeed, it could be said that Falenica lacks nothing. Yet, there is the feeling that something is missing, a gap created by the absence of Falenica’s Jews. Although nothing can ever fill this gap, translation of the Falenica Memorial Book will restore the memory of the Jews who were once a vital part of this town.
