The project, whose culmination was a planned public event, aimed to present the rich and diverse history of the Jewish community connected with Siemiatycze and the Podlasie region. Over several months, participants explored local Jewish heritage through educational and cultural activities, with the ceremonial meeting serving as a symbolic conclusion of the entire initiative.

The central element of the event was an exhibition of archival photographs transferred onto ceramic tiles, which uniquely preserved images of the past and offered a new perspective on history. The exhibition was accompanied by a selection of publications devoted to the history of Polish Jews, providing an important complement to the narrative of their culture, traditions, and experiences. Guests were also able to view film materials documenting the course of the project, allowing them to revisit its key stages.

The event was further enriched by a tasting of Jewish cuisine prepared by the Rural Women’s Association from Grodzisk, enabling participants to experience the heritage of this community from a culinary perspective as well. The meeting became not only an opportunity to conclude the project, but also a space for reflection on local Jewish heritage, which constitutes an important element of the identity of Siemiatycze and the Podlasie region.
