The aim of the project was to implement the Stolpersteine (Stumbling Stones / Stones of Remembrance) initiative, with installations planned for selected locations in Poland in 2025. The project provided support to individuals wishing to commemorate victims of the Holocaust by covering administrative costs, preparing site plans, translating documentation, and financing both the stones themselves and their professional installation.
For 2025, three locations in Warsaw were planned: Graniczna Street (Stefania and Karol Mandel), Niecała Street (five members of the Leder/Heyman family), and Długa Street (S. Szwajger). The initiative aimed to restore the names and memory of victims—most of whom have no graves—responding to the need to commemorate specific individuals and preserve historical memory.
