Through presentations of the history of Upper Silesia’s Jews, the Max Kopfstein Association wanted to show how great their influence was on the region’s culture, industry, scholarship and social and political life. This work is particularly important in the context of acts of vandalism that occurred in Upper Silesian Jewish cemeteries in 2023. The event comprised a range of activities, including meetings with authors, workshops, guided tours, pervasive games that followed the traces of Upper Silesia’s Jews, and weekend seminar for teachers.
