The project “Jewish Photographic Studios in Płońsk – A Series of Cultural Events,” organized by the Municipal Cultural Center in Płońsk, aims to preserve the memory of the Jewish community of Płońsk and to present the history of local photographic studios, including the largest one run by Berek and Józef Sarawajski.

As part of the initiative, a panel exhibition based on archival materials will be created, along with art and photography workshops for children, young people, and adults, as well as a literary competition titled “Memory: The Past Captured in Photographs.”

The project will enable city residents to learn about and better understand the multicultural past of Płońsk, while also encouraging their involvement in the preservation and promotion of Jewish heritage.
