Thanks to support from the grant program, we were able to carry out a unique series of concerts and music workshops that combined Jewish tradition with contemporary artistic forms.
As part of the project, three audiovisual performances titled “Songs of Everyday Life – Nigunim,” inspired by the writings of Jolanta Brach-Czaina, were presented, along with a klezmer music concert that attracted great public interest in Warsaw, Końskowola, and Puławy.
The stage featured outstanding artists from Poland, France, and the United States, including Professor Yale Strom—a world-renowned violinist and scholar of klezmer music—and vocalist Elizabeth Schwartz, known as the “Yiddish Édith Piaf.” The performances were accompanied by workshops, open rehearsals, and meetings with the audience, offering deeper insight into Jewish musical heritage.
