Publishing the journal ‘Midrasz’ (quarterly) in 2019

Grant for the Association Midrasz for the project: ‘Publishing the journal ‘Midrasz’ (quarterly) in 2019’.

In 2019 the Association ‘Midrasz’ is planning to publish four 100 pages issues of the magazine dated: spring, summer, autumn, winter. Apart from the change of publishing frequency, caused by the financial situation of the Association, the magazine will keep its monography character. Each issue will be devoted to a different topic from Jewish history and culture and created like a cultural almanach. Each issue consists of book reviews, interviews, fragments from literature, essays, publicist articles on current issues, especially Polish-Jewish relations. The magazine aims to continue to target problems of the Jewish community in Poland, promote Polish-Jewish dialogue, be a patron of various cultural and science related initiatives, as well as publishing houses, which aim to promote Jewish culture.
