The project “Screening of the Performance ‘Zagłada’ and Workshops for Adults,” implemented by the Banina Foundation, aims to deepen the knowledge of residents of Hrubieszów County about the history and culture of Polish Jews, as well as the multicultural character of former borderland towns.
In Kryłów, in the historic setting along the Bug River, educational workshops will be held to introduce participants to the life of the Jewish community during the interwar period, followed by a presentation of the performance “Zagłada,”directed by Bartłomiej Miernik.
The project combines historical education with artistic expression in order to commemorate local Jewish communities, broaden knowledge of the region’s past, and preserve the memory of its multicultural heritage.
