Thanks to our grant support, the Foundation implemented a project to expand the database of victims of the Treblinka extermination camp. The resources were enriched with the names of 4,647 Jews from Greece, verified with Yad Vashem, as well as 1,125 additional victims identified from other sources, including 200 individuals previously unrecorded in any database. At the same time, the system was rebuilt—the database gained a relational structure, individual profile pages and family data were improved, significantly enhancing functionality in both the Polish and English versions.

The project also included outreach and educational activities: 54 Facebook posts were published, inquiries from families and researchers from around the world were answered, and cooperation with historian Chris Webb was continued. Much of the work was carried out on a voluntary basis, with dedication and commitment. We are proud to have supported an initiative that preserved the memory of thousands of victims and created a modern research tool for historians, families, and all those interested in the history of the Holocaust.
