New York-based chefs Liz Alpern and Jeffrey Yoskowitz (the Gefilteria) re-imagining tastes of Jewish cuisine from Central Europe and Polish chef Aleksander Baron have joined their talents to revive the tastes and flavours of the Ashkenazi cuisine recipes. The most important part of this project apart from meetings and debates was the food! You could learn how to prepare certain dishes and then taste them during a dinner organized in POLIN Museum for over 100 guests. In addition, in Menora InfoPunkt, Museum’s space at Grzybowski Square in Warsaw, excellent chefs from various parts of Poland organized culinary workshops.
