Core exhibition

The core exhibition is the heart of POLIN Museum. This unique theatrum of history was appreciated internationally and awarded numerous times for setting new standards for historical museums.

The exhibition, created by researchers and designers from all over the world, is made up from eight galleries. It presents an untold story of Jewish life in Poland from year 960 until today. It serves as a foundation for educational, cultural and artistic programs. In November 2017 a one millionth visitor came to see the core exhibition.

The design and production of the core exhibition was funded by the Association of the Jewish Historical Institute of Poland. Cost of the exhibition reached almost PLN 145 million. Creation of the exhibition was possible thanks to support of donors from all over the world.
