Project begun by Katarzyna Winiarska and the Jacek Kuroń Educational Foundation. They mounted an information board on the main street of Białowieża, in what was a Jewish neighborhood before the war. They placed a monument at a former gravel pit in a forest near the city where 77 Jewish men and boys were executed on August 10, 1941. The Foundation also organized a commemoration of the 78th anniversary of the execution and deportation of Jews. Descendants of Jewish families from Białowieża and local residents took part.
