Book of Names, a database of victims of the Treblinka death camp, is a project of the Memory of Treblinka Foundation, which has been fighting for years to identify the victims in the world’s largest cemetery of citizens of Poland: Polish Jews. Even today hundreds of thousands of victims remain anonymous because the German tried to obliterate all traces of them in an effort to leave no evidence of their existence.
