History of the Koźmin Wielkopolski Jews

Grant for Krotochwile Association for the project of commemorating the Koźmin Wielkopolski Jews

Koźmin Wielkopolski is home to one of the few Jewish cemeteries preserved in this region, with more than 300 tombstones. Despite its exceptional nature, this place is not well known, even among the town’s inhabitants. The Krotochwile Association, raises awareness among Koźminians of the rich, multicultural history of their town by showing a 2020 documentary film about the town’s last Jewish resident, Nathan Mośkiewicz, which was produced with the Association’s support. They have also prepared materials for local teachers about the town’s multicultural heritage.
