The annual International Summer Seminar in Yiddish Language and Culture, organized by the Shalom Foundation, took place online this year due to the pandemic. This is an excellent example of how moving activities online could broaden the reach of a project. From June 29 to July 17, almost 100 participants took part in 360 hours of language instruction, 17 lectures, virtual tours, and theatre performances.
