Jewish Culture Weekend

Before the war, about 2,000 Jews lived in Rymanów: they were almost half the town’s population. Days of Jewish Memory has been celebrated there for 13 years. The Municipal Cultural Center in Rymanów wants to include offerings for youth in its program by organizing a range of activities: an educational conference for youth from the city and the surrounding area to present knowledge about the culture and history of the town’s Jewish community; the scavenger hunt “In the Footsteps of Rymanów’s Jews,” as well as a Sabbath evening featuring the preparation of traditional Jewish dishes. A tasting will be held on the Rymanów market square, accompanied by music, and the meeting will be open to all residents.
