“Postcard to Mietek,” a project of the Mieczysław Wajnberg Institute, aims to create a libretto for a musical work reflecting the spirit of the times marked by the war in Ukraine. The libretto will consist of selected texts from “Postcard to Mietek,” which will be edited by writer Sylwia Chutnik. Young Varsovian composers will compose the music. The work will premiere in front of the house at 66 Żelazna street in Warsaw, where Mieczysław Wajnberg was born.
