After the war, the only inhabitant of Mszana Dolna to survive the Holocaust, Jakob Weissberger, funded a monument to the Jewish community. Eighty years after the tragedy, the monument had deteriorated. The Mszana Dolna Shtetl Foundation decided to carry out a comprehensive renovation of the marker. The unveiling is planned for the 80th anniversary of the murder of Mszana’s Jews in August 2022.
