Stolpersteine at the Oppenheim House in Wrocław commemorates the Herz family. The building dates from 1894, when Ludwig Herz opened a shoe store there, advertising the products with the slogan “With heart and sole.” The shop soon gained world renown. By embedding the Stolpersteine, memory stones, in the sidewalk, and other forms of commemoration in public space, the Op Enheim Foundation aims to raise awareness of this family and this place.
