Stone obelisk commemorating members of the Katz and Fridman

Grant for the “Świętokrzyski Sztetl” Museum and Education Center for the project of erecting a stone obelisk

Members of the Katz and Fridman families were murdered in a farm field in the village of Suskrajowice during the war and buried there. In 1986, a concrete slab was placed on their grave. Residents of the village still remember them and place flowers and candles on the slab. The “Świętokrzyski Sztetl” Museum and Education Center erected a stone obelisk as a more fitting memorial to those who were murdered.
