Grant for Nomina Rosae Foundation for creating a virtual tour and publishing a catalogue

An exhibition of replicas of Jewish attire at the House of History is a project of the Nomina Rosae Foundation. The discovery of original textiles from the 1930s in prewar Jewish apartment buildings in Nowy Sącz was the inspiration for replicating ten outfits, based on iconographic sources, including photographs from the 19th and 20th centuries. Since the pandemic limited the number of people who could visit the exhibition in person, the organizers created a virtual tour and published a catalogue — Tałesy, kapoty, załóżki (Taleysim, kapotes, brusttukhn).
