Decades after World War II, memory and knowledge of Jewish Kazimierz Dolny, the multicultural heritage of the Lublin region, and a shared Polish-Jewish history are slowly fading. The Pardes Festival connects history to the present by raising awareness of traces of centuries of Jewish presence in the Lublin region. What has been suppressed from memory is alive in stones and in historical accounts. The ninth edition of the Pardes Festival was held in 2021.
