The 100th anniversary of Rita Steinhardt-Botwinick’s birth was in 2023, and the Wińsko for Education Association decided to celebrate it by renewing a book that until now has been unavailable in local libraries and unknown to most residents. The Association set itself the goal of introducing the prewar fate of the Wińsko Jewish community to current residents, both by making copies of the book available to schools and libraries, and by organizing an accompanying program designed primarily for school-age youth.
