Tad Taube and the Koret Foundation introduced the David Berg Foundation to the Museum of the History of Polish Jews. In honor of their dedication to preserving the legacy of Jewish life in Poland, the David Berg Foundation is pleased to support the Museum. David Berg was deeply interested in Jewish history, Jewish art and culture, and the preservation of Jewish communities and heritage sites. Given David Berg’s historical and artistic interests, the Foundation is delighted to support “The Street Gallery” in the Museum’s Core Exhibition, which highlights the cultural and intellectual vitality of Polish Jewry during the interwar period (1918-1939). The David Berg Foundation also commends Professor Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett, Program Director of the Core Exhibition, on her scholarship and leadership in organizing the exhibition.
