The Foundation for the Documentation of Jewish Cemeteries documents inscriptions on hundreds of thousands of tombstones scattered in almost a hundred Jewish cemeteries across Poland. They photograph tombstones, transcribe and translate inscriptions, and record the geographical coordinates of each tombstone.
In 2017, they added tombstone inscriptions from the Jewish cemetery in Starachowice to their collection, which is freely accessible online.
