“Ekspedycja An-skiego we wspomnieniach” is a translation from Yiddish to Polish of Abraham Rechtman’s memoir of his experiences during Sh. An-ski’s ethnographic expedition to Podolia and Volhynia between 1912 and 1914. Rechtman takes readers on a remarkable journey around regional towns, where he interviews locals and collects their folklore. The book and interactive map are available free of charge on the Sh. An-ski Association website www.anski.org. The grant covers the publication of the first part of Abraham Rechtman memoirs, “Yidishe etnografye un folklor” (an e-book).
